Biography
The release of her 2nd CD, I Believe, breaks new ground and creates an unexpected new genre of music. I Believe is bonded together with the common thread of deep, message- filled lyrics. I believe in doing good and living by the word. I believe my songs are a therapeutic outlet for all ages. This CD is one in which swirling keyboards and graceful piano playing weaves heavy rock guitar and vocals into an original tapestry of music. These elements beautifully contrast and consummate with the fire of Jodi's impassioned vocals.
Jodi's journey into the world of music began when she was just a pre-teen. When she was just a child, and at the request of a friend, she re-wrote the lyrics to a successful pop icon's grammy award-winning song. She gave copies to everyone in her school and was soon on her her way to success. In her early teens she was playing both piano and violin and soon evolved into being a full-fledged song-writer. Shortly thereafter, Jodi began making public appearances with various bands in her home state of Pennsylvania. A move to Boston and an education at the prestigious Berklee College of Music have sharpened her skills to integrate into her music. As a result of her continuing desire for self-expression, she has developed into a talented performer and songwriter.
