'Jaded'

Typical music business bull-shit. Self-assertiveness and saying'no' is the underlying theme in this tune with a beautiful melodic piano.

'Forgive & Forget'

The basis is a song about war. It's really just a song with the loss of someone you love. She's basically forgiving him for leaving her alone & going off to war.

'I Believe' Jodi Griffith/Mike Loce

I wanted to express my belief in issues that exist in the world today & turn them around into something positive. I believe there are many people out there searching for something but they don't know what it is or how to find it. I believe in 'What Goes Around Comes Around.'- Track off of "There's Only One You"

'Everytime You Break My Heart'

This song is about a girl I knew who followed her ex around in the beginning and talks about how he really 'killed her heart.'

'Where's Kacie Now?'

I can't talk about this too much… but this is about how divorce affects the innocent ones – the children.

'I'll Always Be Young'

Now matter how old I get I'll still think young, act young, and maybe (with plastic surgery?) look young.

'Bring To Me'

A song about love going right for once. I think I was influenced by Green Day when I came up with this one. I thought of my current relationship & how good it is compared to other relationships in the past. Also, I tried to write a happy song for once!

'Free'

Breaking away emotionally from someone who wasn't very healthy for you can be very freeing. Free to yourself & free from anything sub-sequentially troublesome. Sometimes people come back & admit they were wrong. You can forgive but sometimes things can never really be the same again. Incidentally, this is a re-make of the original progressive rock version off of Jodi's first CD entitled 'There's Only One You'.

'Sacrifice'

Decisions are a big factor in life. The 'sacrifice' is about deciding if you want money or happiness, family or fame. I always wanted to write a song using sacrifice as the title.

'She'll Try To Be Friends'

Sometimes you just can’t be friends with an ex. They may be forgiven but the actions just can’t be erased. Yes, this a personal experience for me and I’m sure many can relate.
